Teamwork when leading Change

It is said that “Change is the only constant in life.” This statement is undoubtedly true in leadership. However, leading through change must always consider the team that will carry the work of the change and make it happen. In only seven minutes you will learn some valuable lessons about leading your team when leading change. Reach out to us if you want to know more.

Two Book I highly Recommend regarding the topic of change:

John Kotter’s now-legendary eight-step process for managing change with positive results has become the foundation for leaders and organizations across the globe. By outlining the process every organization must go through to achieve its goals, and by identifying where and how even top performers derail during the change process, Kotter provides a practical resource for leaders and managers charged with making change initiatives work. Leading Change is widely recognized as his seminal work and is an important precursor to his newer ideas on acceleration published in Harvard Business Review. (Purchase the book on Amazon)

Even though it is more of an all-around handbook on leadership, Justin Irving draws wisdom from the Bible, contemporary leadership theory, and the insights of over two hundred executive leaders, thus providing a theological framework that makes human flourishing the driving motivation for leading organizations. He helps readers invest in their own growth to become leaders who motivate, inspire, and nurture. There are two chapters on change leadership: One about the need for change when a crisis hits and the second on planned and structured change management. (Purchase the book on Amazon)
